The Hospital Chaplain volunteers his/her time to plan, implement, coordinate and evaluate pastoral services designed to meet the needs of patients, their families, friends and professional staff on a non-denominational basis. This individual participates in family conferences and on multi-disciplinary health care teams to provide direct service to patients, families and staff. In conjunction with other local spiritual leaders, appropriate worship opportunities, including memorial services, are provided within the chapel and elsewhere in the building.
